- Take an old USB charger and use a pair of pliers to expose the wires inside. Remember that this USB cable will be useless for any other purpose. You will see a black and red wire. You want to expose the internal part of the wire so you need to remove gently the coating.
- Remove the cap of the vape battery to gain access to your vape battery. All batteries have a plus + and a minus – side. In most batteries, the conventional way is that the black wire is the negative terminal and the red wire is the positive terminal.
- You now want to attach the black wire from the USB charger to the black terminal of the battery and the red wire from the USB charger to the red terminal. Be careful to not let the red and black wires touch each other as they could short-circuit.
- Once you have all wires in place, your vape is charging. Wait for 7 to 10 minutes until the battery has recharged.
- Remove the exposed wires, starting with the black one. If you removed the battery cover from your vape, put it back.
- When everything has been removed, turn on your disposable vape. In principle, your battery should be charged.
- If you find that the puffs are still weak, perhaps your device needs more charging. You can go through the process again and let it charge a little bit longer.
Rechargeable disposable vapes
Rechargeable vapes come with a USB port that can be connected to your computer and charge your vape pen. The main benefit of a rechargeable vape is that the vape tank contains more e-liquid and is longer-lasting. When you want to recharge your vape, just plug it into the USB charger.
Most batteries can support a disposable vape for up to 3,000 puffs. A vape that offers more than this number of puffs can only be a rechargeable one. Otherwise, the battery would have to be bigger and more cumbersome to support more puffs.
